How do I sign in?
FrenchMate uses a one-time email code. Tap Sign in, enter your email, then enter the 6-digit code we send you. There's no password to remember. If the email doesn't arrive within a minute or two, check your spam folder and make sure noreply@languagelearning.rockiestar.com is allowed.
The microphone button doesn't work.
FrenchMate uses your device's on-device speech recognition. On iOS, open Settings → FrenchMate and make sure both Microphone and Speech Recognition are enabled. On Android, open Settings → Apps → FrenchMate → Permissions and enable Microphone. Then restart the app.
How do I delete my account?
Open the app, go to Settings → Account, and tap Delete account. This permanently removes your account, chat history, saved wordbooks, and sentences. Deletion is irreversible. If you can't access the in-app option, email us from the address on your account and we'll delete it for you.
How do I change my native language?
FrenchMate follows your device's system language for the UI and for the tutor's explanations. Change your phone's language under your OS settings and reopen the app — the tutor will start explaining French in the new language.
I'm being rate-limited.
Anonymous chat use is rate-limited to keep costs down. Signing in lifts the limit. If you're signed in and still hitting a limit, email us and we'll look into it.
How do I request a refund?
All purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple App Store and Google Play. Refund requests must be submitted to the store you purchased from:

- Android: Google Play refund help
Privacy
Our full privacy policy is at /privacy. Short version: we sign you in with an email code, we store the content you create in the app, voice input is transcribed on-device (no raw audio leaves your phone), and you can delete your account at any time from inside the app.
